Our Founding Father

(Our Founding Father, Late Haji Abdul Wajid Saheb)

Born in 1901, our founder, Late Haji Abdul Wajid Saheb, lived a life dedicated to the cause of education and upliftment of the down-trodden in the society. He founded the Jamia Arabia Imdadia at Moradabad, a mini University imparting Arabic, religious & modern education. He also started the Wajidsons Group of Companies with interests in Exports of various products, Urban Development, Cold Storage, Shipping, Hotels & Resorts etc. He was also a freedom fighter & was an active member of "Reshmi Rumal Tehrik" of Independence.

With the understanding that modern quality education is the sole constituent of a healthy society, he established Amtul’s Public School, Nainital in 1983.
